Joshua Harris

Joshua Harris is a music performance major at Michigan State University. For the 2022-2023 season, Josh will join the Civic Orchestra of Chicago as a regular member while finishing his degree at MSU. Additionally, Josh has performed with the Jackson (MI) Symphony Orchestra, was a finalist in the World Trumpet Society’s Orchestral Excerpt Competition, received the International Trumpet Guild’s “Ryan Anthony'' scholarship, and won the MSU Unaccompanied Solo Competition. Joshua was also a fellow at the Aspen Summer Music Festival and the Cincinnati Symphony Brass Institute. Joshua’s mentors include Justin Emerich, Peter Bond, and Lloyd Ellis.
