Michael Romans

Violinist Michael Romans completed his first year of doctorate studies at the University of Michigan under the guidance of Danielle Belen and Fabiola Kim. He is a recent graduate of Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and University of Michigan School of Music Theatre and Dance. He has appeared as concertmaster of the National Repertory Orchestra, co- concertmaster of the Aspen Conducting Academy Orchestra and performed Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 with the orchestra. He was recently appointed concertmaster of the Adrian Symphony Orchestra and serves as guest concertmaster of the Ann Arbor Symphony. Michael currently performs on an 1863 Giuseppe Rocca generously on loan to him through the Brobst Violin Shop of Alexandria, Virginia.
