Brian Lee
Cellist Brian is a recent graduate of the Tianjin Juilliard School’s Orchestral Studies program studying under the guidance of Prof. Yeonjin Kim. He is currently continuing his studies with Dr. Kim at the University of Michigan in the Specialist in Music program. Brian has also been a fellowship recipient at the Aspen Music Festival and is a substitute cellist with the New World Symphony. He has served as rotating principal cellist at the Aspen Music Festival as well as in the Tianjin Juilliard Orchestra.
Brian completed his undergraduate studies at Macalester College in International Studies, Political Science, and Data Science. Beginning his studies in cello at age 11 under the tutelage of Yosif Feigelson, his cellistic development has been shaped by his various teachers including Thomas Rosenberg, Wilhelmina Smith, Eric Kim, and Richard Aaron.
