Autumn Edson is an orchestral and chamber musician currently pursuing her DMA in horn performance at Michigan State University, where she is also the teaching assistant for the horn studio. As a freelance musician she has played around the country with orchestras such as the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic and the Tahoe Symphony Orchestra. She has been a horn fellow at the Texas Music Festival, the Miami Music Festival, and the Eastern Music Festival. Autumn also enjoys performing in the Cincinnati area with her horn quartet. She earned her master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music where she studied with Lisa Conway and Dr. Margaret Tung, and her bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech where she studied with Juan Berrios. In her free time, Autumn enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and hanging out with her two pet snakes!
