Hsin-Ju Yu
Hsin-Ju Yu is an active performer as a solo recitalist, concerto soloist, chamber musician, and professional orchestra musician. She is currently a member in Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, Battle Creek Symphony Orchestra and Midland Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Yu has performed many solo and chamber concerts in many places including Carnegie Hall in New York, as well as in Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Macao and Australia. Her music festival appearances include Ameropa Music Festival in Czech Republic, International Academy of Music in Italy, Texas Music Festival and Summit Music Festival. Ms. Yu has won many competitions such as National Taiwan University of Education Concerto Competition and Taoyuan City Violin Competition in Taiwan. Ms. Yu holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Michigan State University, under Professor Dmitri Berlinsky. Her additional studies include the master classes of Mikhail Bezverkhny, James Buswell, Lynn Chang, Qian Zhou, Piotr Jan Milewski, Emanuel Borok, among many others.
